What do you expect out of a 4000lb car with less than 300 wheel horsepower?.... Not to mention a lazy final drive ratio and stock everything?

Don't forget the mileage has lots to do with it also.. These cars were 0 to 60 in 5.9 sec when brand new.. Age, wear and tear will definitely make that worse. Guaranteed a fresh engine rebuild maybe even tranny would net better times IMO. Still no matter what the age or mileage is these cars are still worthy..

Actually a GS400 weighs 3693 lbs with 300/HP & "not under 300HP". I agree the car is the video is OK Performance for a car with almost 200K miles but I won't be braggin to much doing runs when a car is not in Peak condition (w/ check engine light).. I guess I'm a bit biased as I never ran a time over 14.5sec in any of my GS4's (stock) but I also have mint condition low mileage too.

This is PDF of GS Specs.

I'm sure the car would have done better if I fixed the cats and ran it again before I sold it lol. All I'm saying, is that anyone that thinks these cars are fast in stock form is skewed.
