Hey everyone.

Finally got around to running my first set of wheels (after being slammed on stock OEM's for almost 1 year and a half) for the GS.

19x9.5 +22
19x10.5 +22

225/35/19 Front
245/35/19 Rear

Question is how big of a stretch is this? How much PSI should I be running and should I be worried about the tire debeading or take any extra precautions?

Is it okay to run used tires (due to just being cambered and not wanting to spend 1k+ on brand new v12's) and is it okay to mismatch tires?

Please educate me on aftermarket wheels and tires!

I wouldn't run used tires, cuz most likely they will have camber wear, other damage, and hardened if they are old. not too big of a stretch its the correct size. I have 255/30 on a 10.5 and I've also ran 245/40 on a 10.5. I've also had 235/40 on a 9.5. all pretty standard stretch sizing.

I got the same width wheels and tire size just haven't put them on yet. My offset is +12 on front and rear so that wouldn't change how the stretch looks.

Ok I just remembered this one think he's on CL running your specs but with 245/35 rear and 235/35 fronts

The stretch you are running should be more than fine. Depending on type of tire I'd run 45 to 50ish psi. Go with new tires, not worth used. And yes ideally they should all match for optimal driving/steering. Check out nankangs not that expensive and awesome stretch. If it makes u feel any better I run 225/40 on 10.5 and 245/40 on 11.5 so your good, good luck!

I'm running a 245/35/19 on 19X9.5 +20 up front. For added protection Ide go w/
245/35/19 all around .

BUT, depending on how low you are you may have to remove your front fender liner or trim it at least.

Bringing this back to the top finally got around to tire shopping.

Seems like shops are just trying to sell me the cheapest things whats some good tires to stretch with this size?

i used to run a 225/35 on a 9.5 and 245/35 on 10.5.. not that big of a stretch at all depending on brand. i now run a 245/35 on a 11.5. i would run 40 psi in the tires. if your miss matching try to get atleast both fronts to match and both rear to match. only real problem with running used tires is they are worn, so expect vibration and tire noise.

I would not buy used tires. Especially if the tire has been stretched before, it probably weaken the side wall of the tire so it would probably bubble overtime. That stretch isn't bad exactly what i'm running. I keep 45-50 depending on my mood, i dont let it drop any lower than that.

I ran a more conservative stretch on the exact specs wheels you got. I ran a 235/35 in the front and 265/30 in the rear. That's the exact sizes I'll be running with my new wheels. Same sizes just a little more aggressive offsets. Front fenders rolled and rears shaved.

i have the same spec wheels but in 18's. i use a 275 35 rear and a 245 40 front. not much stretch and i have no rubbing with a fender shave.
