Default US spec parts

Hello, im new to the GS ownership, being from the UK we get lack of US spec parts over here.

Does anyone know any sites that would ship over here? Or have a list of US spec parts please.

I also need a new radio display as the pixels are dead, is there an easy fix for this?

I have a few more questions ill be posting shortly.

Many thanks.

Sartanin87 - Most of the sellers on Ebay.com ship worldwide. For genuine Lexus parts trying getting the part numbers off someone in the US and calling your local Lexus/Toyota dealer as they can sometimes get them in stock.

Hi Sartain87. Living in Poland, I have the same problem. However, I managed to replace almost all visible EDM parts to USDM.
What exactly parts are you considering? Usually there is no universally 'best' source for diffrent items.

Guys thank you for replying, i kinda get abit worried about ordering from dealers due to owning a VW and the fact they took it above themselves not to be to helpful haha

Im after things like wind deflectors, the US side markers i think there called (side of the front bumpers, and im sure the rear also?!)

The window visors you can get from Nigel, who's a vendor here. As for the corner markers, you should be able to pick them up pretty easily off of ebay.

I bought my front side markers (also USDM clear courtesy lights) from my local Lexus dealership in Warsaw. I'm sure your dealer can have it for you as well. Plus I expect the price to be comparable to used ones from eBay + shipping.

For more expensive items you'll save quite a bit if you stick with used parts. I bought my taillights (they include integrated rear side markers) from JeffTsai from this forum and instrument cluster from a local guy who parted cars.

In general, we are lucky (or not, depending on your perspective) that there is not too many differences between USDM and EDM variants of our cars.
Think how much PITA it would be for any '80s Mercedes-Benz...

As to the window visors I am not sure... Is this an OEM part??

Michal5000 - Are the clear courtesy lights the ones on the lower part of the door as I've being after some of those myself as the ones in the UK are red which doesn't really work with white led bulbs to well so it would be an improvement lighting wise.

Yep, that's right.
They're red on EDM cars, but white/clear on USDM ones. I also noticed the same on other makes/models, like 2nd gen Honda Legend/Acura Legend. Must be one of our ridiculous EU law requirements, I suppose.

Michal5000 - Do you have apart number for those or can you remember what you asked for in the Lexus dealership?

@Pete - didn't save the part numbers, but you can easily find them on the web. Just google "toyo diy" with no space

No problem, I've just checked it for you.
The part number for the USDM clear courtesy lamp lense is 81231-50050.
It should cost about $10.60 per piece.
You need four of them (there is no difference between front and rear).
