Tanabe IMO. Borla is too weak (from most clips i've heard), HKS is too loud to me and Tanabe is just right. Low classy rumble nothing obnoxious or anything.

i personally think the muffler delete or straight pipe scenario brings out the muscular tones of a V8 the best. I need to make a quick vid of mine, but, chek out the sik GS430 clip from AEeighty6 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7759768...in/photostream

I love the big oval cans on my Fujitzubo - although i have yet to update my sound clip post. I originally wanted Tanabe but the one i bought just popped up at the right time.

Im running the fireballs and love the sound, was gonna delete the resonators but decided not to. Tanabe is nice too. Just keep in mind the fireballs on the v8 and on a v6 sound a bit different.

I'd have to say Tanabe.

I have my biases though

I do like my Blitz Nur Spec axle backs quite a bit
Sounds pretty good even with the stock midpipes. Doesn't drone bad at all actually and it's pretty much quiet when driving unless your on it WOT or high in the RPMs. I'm debating if I want to take out the resonators though.

I disagree with Borla sounding too weak, it depends on if u gotta 300 or a 400, my borla on my 400 sounds mean as hell.....I've heard great things about Tanabe though...

Im wondering the same thing. I have a 300 and want a little more tone but dont want that whole "ghetto import" buzz sound.
