Default Aux audio hack

Hacked my cd changer leads finally.

Did timing belt and entire cooling system about 2 months ago. Eyeing some 19" Savini BM13's in black. Needs a round of struts I think...
2016 plans: rims/motivos, pioneer AVIC 8000 (for CarPlay + OBD2 link), New splits F/R, 1000w5ch + Sub, escort stealth (8000ci?), a full Huper Optik wrap, throttle body sonic clean, 02 sensor + cat checkup, valve cover check, new plugs+wires, new mounts, new rear carriers, Vvti filter+ solenoid clean / replace, aannnnnd maybe front cam seal replacement if needed.

In-lines from Frys. Snaps onto existing wires. No cutting or unnecessary line exposure. Added line slips in with a positive stop. Crimp, crank.. And riiiiide.

Hack is the correct term. You never ever ever want to use those types of connectors.

Think they are telco connects. I didn't sweat it because I knew the lines I was tapping were only signal wires. The amp sends all the power through different lines. If I had to put connects between a HU directly linked to speakers I'd use something better. I dont notice any signal noise though and after I ran the system hard for 4 hours straight (Vegas run) I checked to make sure there was no odd heat buildup and it was cool to the touch.

Ok it didn't raise doubts when I thought of using them, and they SEEM to be ok as far as I've been able to tell. Help me understand why never ever ever.

I spent $2400 on her. Brakes turned, right motor mount and transmission mount. Starter, water pump, timing belt, tensioners, crank seal replaced. Gonna feel like a new car!!!🚔

Not today, but I picked these up. Same wheels on my car now but 2 piece version and 19s. They need a refinish but couldn't pass them up.
