Last week I finally got my front suspension done! Tie rods, sway bar links, control arms(upper and lower), lbj's, and as well as motor mounts, transmission mount, and the radiator, car is driving much better. Had original control arms, tie rods, and sway bar links since Mile 0 but the lbj's had been replaced, but it's better to be safe than sorry for lbj's. Gotta love spending money on a car I love to drive.

I didn't even know about our cars front suspension issues, until I accidentally ran across member's ball joint failure post... I had all the 'issues', that fixed all of it and now the car feels like brand new again. Now, looking at Grom kits, need to replace the rear door actuators, blah blah blah.... lol.
did you go to dealer or do it yourself

Rear 19mm subframe bolt finally back in and GS is now driveable.....
About 2 weeks ago, some tweaker decided to remove the 12mm nut from one side of my Daizen rear sway bar and one 19mm subframe bolt... I guess in hopes of taking the sway bar and Tom's 6-links on my BCP GS. They probably got scared off when the 19mm bolt came out as the subframe is under pressure and a loud bang is heard. Well.... I finally went to source a used subframe bolt and got that in and it's now driveable. Need to buy a new end link since it bent due to 12mm nut missing.

I got the parts from Sewell, and I had a guy do it for me. I try to do most 'DYI's', but something as critical as those, I go to my guy. He's ASE certified, and builds/fabricates racecars for fun. He once fabricated the rusted out frame on my 4Runner, I trust his work. He only charged me 150$. (darn alignment was almost as much... lol)

Default 01 GS430 navigation

I'm trying to update my navigation dvd on '01 GS430. When I slide the eject button to the right, the disk doesn't eject. Can any one help assist with some information?
Thanks

I think I can fix it myself to the point where nobody would notice it but me. I had it done last weekend, but I cant share the photo's quite yet.

I got a Multi Display from an Aristo in the mail. Turns out it's pretty much plug and play, including the trip computer being functional. Being able to read Japanese is important, however.
