Decided to give that 2k clear I'd been reading about a try.
After laying down some base coat, the two part clear went on really nice; not like that cheapo clear coat from Advanced Auto etc. For the $50 investment in materials, I'm pretty pleased.
Learned alot (mostly that prep and polishing is labor INTENSIVE - lol)

Really, for $50 and the satisfaction of doing it yourself, it's way less expensive than having a paint shop do it. If you want perfection maybe, but if not bad is good enough, give it a try.

Next up... da bumbers.

Just installed 6k in my headlights and fog I ordered from xenon. But I don't get why the fogs are brighter than my actual headlights? Lol maybe it's my projector headlights? Or is it possible I have the headlight hid kit in the fog n the fog in the headlight?
