Yes, you have to get the key cut. Not bad for a $10 flip key housing off ebay. I just had to transfer the guts from my factory key over.

I got a Multi Display from an Aristo in the mail. Turns out it's pretty much plug and play, including the trip computer being functional. Being able to read Japanese is important, however.

Last month brought this gs300 stock. Install wheels, coilover, retrofit, led tails, and exhaust. Will do the motor swap soon.
