dont use sharpie it will come off, a dab of black nail polish should do the trick for a long time

did her usual Mobile1 full synthetic oil change, finally replaced the foggy/hazy driver side head light and put on her holiday bow

Before

After. Still have to change out the old headlights with the new ones. Just need to switch out the suspension from the other GS430 with the big brakes, do some engine bay paint work, an alignment and hopefully have her back on the road in a week or two. Finally. This was one insurance nightmare after another for the last 8 months. Now what to do with the other "spare" V8.

i was planning to go a similar setup. I am shocked you're running 255 and 10.5 upfront. Don't you rub a lot?

I was gonna do +22 10.5 rears, 9.5 fronts.

I installed black wood through out, but chose to wrap the center console in carbon-fiber. I like it, and AGREE the other brown wood does not look nice in a black interior. I have a set of blackwood door trim pieces if your interested pm me or text 678-603-8194 DC

Discovered that I may have set the record for oldest timing belt ever. Some people have let theirs go until 115k and say they still look pretty much new. My car is at 191k and the belt that came out was brittle and cracked. Original, possibly? I have my suspicions.

But now that time bomb is defused so I can drive it like I stole it again

I would assume so, given that the morons who owned this car before me probably didn't even know the engine had a timing belt.

sold her...

the end of an era...

after almost 8 yrs of superb ownership, 'ol Lexy left my life today... she was one of the most reliable cars i have ever owned... there were a lot of memories i had with the car... it was the first car my wife and i bought together, it was our car when we got married, it was the car that drove our first child home from the hospital, it was even the car that we took to see the house we live in today... after the truck picked her up, i sent the pics below and we both had a sad moment... but alas as we move on in life, you can always keep the memories... i hope that she treats her new owner with all the dependability and solid reliability i had... i am sure she will live a good life...

my last drive...
