Default Finally single

Wasn't exactly done today but it's the latest piece to the puzzle of my build. Decided it was time to ditch the stock twins and add a few other items while I was at it. Love how this phase of my motor update came out still have more to do but this is it for now. I really need to start a build thread so I can have one place to update my build

The cleaning. I would bet money that if anyone really DID have issues with a drop in oiled filter, it was because they got carried away with the spray bottle. {or oiled the wrong/both side(s).**

I think Mythbusters showed that they restrict less air than a vanilla one. It is closer to not having one in the box.

Anyway, installed a chrome trunk bar, (THANKS bDang!) Breaks it up much better,

believe it or not It didn't look like original fluid and also had minimal metal particles. I've had the car for 200k so I know it was never changed

for one you never have to replace it so its a cost saving method

this is 99% of ANY issues with a oiled filter, if you have problems with it its generally operator error. your supposed to oil both sides IIRC or atleast i think i did when i had my K & N drop in filter. its been so long

i'm doing my best to just leave it stock, but the mod itch is hitting hard... it doesn't take much to unleash the fury... a pulley, injector and tune easily gets it into the 11's with stock drive-ability... what have i done???

in Worchester, MA... it was a process to get home since they are a no temp plate state but it was a deal i couldn't pass up... last year i looked at a true unicorn '13 Vagon with 15k miles, 6MT, recaros and no sunroof... but they didn't budge a penny off their asking...

i had to go up twice for the car, but it is back home in the stable... here it is sleeping next to the MRS
