What year GS?
I have a 2000 and my DRL's are the High beams at 50% power.
I'm not sure if all 2GS's are that way, I think they might be, you'll need 9006 LED lights if I'm not mistaken.
I switched out my highs for an LED that still works as a high, and the smaller bulbs in there for LED's as well.
Edit: Here's mine, just snapped a shot with my iPhone. lol ... The pictures always look better on the iPhone screen. =P
And all instagramed up lol

they don't turn on cuz for drl they are given like 6v instead of 12v, in halogens they will still light up but just dim, 12v when you turn on high beam for full brightness. LEDS can't run off lower voltages than the amount they are designed for i.e. 12v. that's why they don't turn on unless you high beam them so they get 12v. what you need is a led drl harness from ilovejdm toy and it will work. that's what I have, DON'T GET THE VLED MODULES they are crap, I've ordered 2 sets for 2 different cars they both didn't work. It kept blowing fuses on my car.
