Default Radiator question..

The piece of tube from my radiator that attaches to the hose that connects to the engine broke so basically my engine is getting 0 water.

Now my question is if I buy a new radiator, will it bring that whole top piece that has that tube and the radiator cap? Or is that an external plastic piece that attaches to the radiator? Any help?

The part I need is 16441

If I buy a new OE radiator, will the radiator have its own "16441" upper piece or is that a piece that I need to mount on any radiator that I buy?

I suppose it depends where you buy it.

Parts.com has a decent diagram:

http://www.parts.com/parts/1998/LEXU...gramCallOut=13

as does sewell:
http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S400-1999.html
http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...S400-1999.html

That should tell you what is included in the part you buy

Parts has a good diagram but they don't have the part I need which is just below number 4?

Login and register to Sewell with a clublexus discount then I see:

1644146570
TANK, RADIATOR, UPPER 01 Ships 24-48 hrs $241.00 $200.44 $145.81

So prices are in same ballpark.
