I'm afraid 9" will be slightly too large if you consider the mounting brackets.

Why not just toss them each an ipad?

Default 9.2" Boss gray headrest in my GS

Headrest monitors.Anyone have any recommendations?-headrest.jpg

acer9103 - Just pick up 9" its not super big as everyone says, looks pretty stock IMO. If you are going to do the upgrade the pricing is not much of a difference but 7" is a bit small. The Boss ones that I picked up only works through headunit DVD or an external player and Ipod/Iphone (Youtube or video) connection through the headunit. USB from my headunit doesn't work with the unit I got, it may be as the headrests are older models. But I did pick it up for a steal. $70 for a pair shipped brand new for the gray. The black is slightly more for $80 for a pair which is still cheap.

Here's for the gray

Here's for the black
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-BOSS-A...item56521b0946

Remember the gray comes in a set (2) but the black you need to purchase 2.

Just a word of warning, the links quoted are for low res screens, so the picture will be 384x234. Fine for kids' cartoons and whatnot I guess.. Since that's what OP wanted it for, this could be ideal for him.

I grabbed a pair of Tan 9" TViews off eBay for $175 shipped. The color matches my GS's interior perfectly. Installation at my local audio shop was another $85. Took about an hour to install. I had a Alpine double din that allows dvd video and sound to be sent to the headrest and wireless headphones while the front uses navigation, bluetooth, usb or radio audio.
