Thanks buddy. I've had moments I've thought about going back to stock body or something less aggressive. I'm not sure how drivable the car will be when I step down to the Weld 18/15 setup. If it can't make it in and out of the driveway I may be forced to go stock body.

Just traded my Rays Gramlights off for a set of Weld S71's in Polished. 18x9 15x10 with 295/55 rear tires. I must say I love the look and can't wait to put them to work!

well that back tire is plenty meaty but man that 15" rim looks so tiny on our full size car lol

In person it doesn't look that that small. I'm a fan of drag packs personally and always wanted a setup for one of my cars. Only seen a GS roll it a handful of times so figured why not lol. As for using it for daily use the car hasn't seen daily duty since Nov 14. As soon as I knew I was having it repainted ect ect I bought a 15 Optima SXL.

correct me if i am wrong but that looks like it only gets traction in a straight line? looks like the side wall would wrinkle to crap if you were to take a hard corner?

You can go around corners with tires like this no problem. You aren't going to go to a road race course and go all out but normal around town driving is fine....as long as no water is present lol.

Some recent shots of it at TX2K this year. Didn't get to do any passes unfortunately as we were not able to keep the transmission from going into safe mode and going into overdrive but it is solved now. I am planning to hit the local 1/8 mile track here and see what sort of times it pulls and to finish dialing in the high boost setting. Hopefully can make it back to a dyno soon to see what sort of numbers it makes on the little 6266

Trailer had a blow out roughly 80 miles from home and took off without a spare so drove her the rest of the way home.

Went and did a pull on gate to compare before and after installation of the Brian Crower 272 cams on the Vvti. At 1 bar the car gained 35rwhp with only change being the cams/springs retainers. Not too shabby. 391 to 426. High boost dyno video sometime soon lol.

Both runs have ID1000's, ECU Masters EMU and on 1 bar of boost. Green is stock cams, red is Brian Crower 272's with their single spring/retainer kit.

Been a long while since I last updated. I took the car down again last year in August in preparation to put a bigger turbo on the car and fix the other issues I found on the car(vacuum leak on the plenum limiting me to 17psi. I did go to the track and was able to do a best of 1.6x 60ft with a 7.4x 1/8 time with that plenum leak. Ditched the old turbo kit and went with the same manifold, 6266 journal bearing up to a 7175 DBB turbo and going from 3 inch into dual 2.5" exhaust to a full 4" turbo back single exit. I'm lacking the catback portion to be built and plan to do a new hotpipe setup on the turbo to make more room near the alternator/fan shroud. Looking forward to getting back to the track at 30psi on this new turbo to see if I can get into the mid 6's

Initial tear down

Loading up my 7175 in Orlando from the main office back to Florida

going back together finally

almost all back together

Powerhouse Racing 4" downpipe / midpipe combo

all buttoned up ready to head to PHR for the final touches / fab work
