My sunroof dosen't shut all the way, it goes 3/4's the way and stops. drain plugs are cleared. but after more then 10 attempts it finally closes. Any solutions? thanks

my moonroof was stuck in the opposite tilt direction. couldnt get it to straighten out. would go forward and back and tilt up and down but never sit flush. tried tilting While holding the slide switch and that finally straightened it out.

Try lubing the tracks for the sunroof. Would suggest a white lithium grease. You could pose the question in the maintenance forum. The other possibility that comes to mind, would be the sunroof motor crapping out. Don't know about the cost, but doesn't seem too technically challenging.

I have my headliner out right now to swap the sunshade from tan to gray and can see the sunroof motor. 2 bolts. That's it.
