Are you using a cassette to AUX port? Cause if so mine does it also. It's the cassette adapter. As far as CD's and stuff, mine doesn't do that.

Hahah nah man. Not yet. My audio build has already been estimated, with everything it'll be 4k, so i'm chillin right now on my audio side. Got bigger things to look into

If your getting static coming out of your speakers, its your internal Amp, never in my life heard of static coming out if the actual player if that is indeed what your saying......

I had this issue with my gs4 when I first picked it up. Turns out my amp for my speakers was bad so I bypassed the amp and installed a new head unit. I hate the unit I picked but the static went away! If one side of the car gets the static and one doesn't then it's probably just the amp. Bypassing was a pain but it all turned out pretty well.
