Failed my Licence test today! ): (also question about LED)
I went for my licence today and i was all excited/nervous about getting it and as i was pulling out of a T intersection some ****** decided instead of going left he would go straight on with his indicator still on (so i went forward because it looked safe to do so and i had to slam on my anchors and he beeped at me when he was in the wrong? So i failed my test for "Judgement" even though he had his indicator on and was in the turn left lane -_-
Anyway to the real post. I have installed some LED's to my car (interior) and i have them on my back door puddle lights, but they seem to only work like sometimes, i cant work out when they want to work (do i need something to be on for them to work) the front ones work perfectly when i open the door

in that case they most likely might be loose. most led's are picked up from china, so the pins might be a little bent, try to bend them back into place, that works too.
yeah it really depends on where and who you get em from. MOST of them come from china. well atleast thats what i know. mine are actually all still very bright and doesn't cut out. i brought them when they first came out lol. nowadays everyone and their momma is tryna make them cheaper and crappy quality.
sorry about your licence test. don't worry about it, you'll get it next time. Just don't stress so much about getting things perfectly right, but instead realize your goal is to just be safe and always yield even if you have the right of way. Yes you may lose a point or two for not taking the right of way when you have it or driving slower than necessarily, but no test will outright fail you for being overly safe (but may fail you for being unsafe).
At the end of the day, when you have your license nobody cares if you got a perfect score or not.

Something else to consider with you LEDs. Everyone has thrown out some good ideas. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but it might be your door lock actuators dying.
Sounds crazy, I know. Lexus builds the door light switch into the door lock actuator. I THINK there might be a diy around here where you can actually repair the light switch WITHOUT replacing the actuator, but you'll still have to pull it out to get to the switch.
One way to tell is if your rear door MAP light also has issues like the puddle light of the same door. Hopefully it's just the LEDs. Let us know what you find out.
