Default 19x10 24mm with a 275-35-19 on the rear of a 2GS???

Am I crazy to think this tire size will work on a lowered car (Tanabe springs) and nothing more than a fender roll and factory alignment?

What do you guys think?

I was looking for 265-35-19 but man, the 275 seems to be a much more common tire size.

I'm using 20x10.5 29mm offset, with 255/30/20 on custom BC coils and I'm still shredding tires, need to shave my fenders, O and I have SPC rear camber kit with maxed out - camber already

Based on those numbers the outside of your rim sticks out 1mm further than mine (so we are pretty much right in line when it comes to the fender lip. Your tire is also a tiny bit shorter than I was planning on running.

Based on what you are telling me, maybe I should do the 255-35-19 in the rear despite really wanting to go wider?

Yep I'm sure you will rub with big dips or hard cornering. 245 should be safe with stock fenders, I'm sure you can do 265 or maybe even wider if you are willing to shave, roll, maybe even pull the fenders.

Yeah, i had a 20x10.5 +29 with a 245/35 on coilvers. I never touched the tires but had shaved fenders. If you shave them thin, you might be able to run the 275 but it will be close. You're not going to have stretch on a 10.

Had 19x9.5 on the rear of my 1st gen with 275/35/19 with no rubbing on big bumps with two passangers. Car wasn't lowered.
