Default Thinking of painting the GS bright red, thoughts?

Even though bright red is considered a sporty color and is usually associated with sports cars, I think it looks really nice on the 2GS. I have thought a lot about doing a color change, and red is one of my top choices; it is unique and not OEM, which appeals to me.
My car is black, and I think it is one of the most sinister and awesome colors when it is clean, but it is so difficult to maintain. I hate the swirl marks and the fact that it shows every particle of dust.
What are your thoughts on bright red 2GS's?

If you look at the cars you posted, they are not stock and unique to their own. The execution has to be dead on, otherwise you will have a Bright red car that will be nothing short of Rice.
It will call attention where ever you go so It must be ON POINT ALL THE TIME.

Its not as easy as yeah, "i Love it"
"I think it would look great do it"

It can be a hit or miss, you gotta think about the overall look., which i would assume you have.

You're gonna need some really tasteful mods to pull off the red properly. Red + stock= no no.

I have only owned red cars and I love a true red but in my opinion keeping a car that's a solid color with no metal fleck will show its age much faster than a deeper, heavily flecked color. When I had the Miata I had it painted the factory Classic Red and it looked fantastic and wasn't too bad to maintain but now that I have the cinnabar pearl I doubt that I'll go back to a solid color.

Totally agree, it has to be on point because the color is yelling for attention. But I do love the color, I can imagine it with white rims...

I can imagine it with black wheels, carbon hood and trunk, black roof, a nice kit, slammed on coilovers, and pushing about 800 rwhp

My car has black wheels, RMM full kit, and an Aristo swap.
I am swapping out the RMM kit for a Mode Parfume kit soon and will hopefully be getting Aqua vented fenders for it.
It should look really good regardless of the color, but I am thinking red would be awesome with those mods.
