I have the original pioneer radio with the LED light problem in which I am finding out was a common problem for this model. I am looking to purchase a replacement, Sony, Kenwood, whatever... The problem is, I want it to fit nicely in the dash. I've seen replacement radio's in cars that it just doesn't look to nice in the dash. Does anyone have any suggestions on a decent replacement radio that will look good in the dashboard?

I have the Pioneer AVH-2400BT
I love it! Except for the fact that it really doesn't play many videos, it only plays DIVX and DVDs.

One more question wise2k... was your car a GS300 - 2001-yr that you installed this sweet system? And it fit nicely??

I had a Kenwood DNX5160 coupled with the Aristo double din kit. It's for sale actually.

I bought mine from Chrutchfield and it came with the kit (dash & harness) included in the price, with free shipping and no tax added. You will have to extend the harness from the stereo to the factory amp to bypass it. There is a good DIY on here at ClubLexus that has detailed instructions with pictures to walk you. My car is a 1999 GS300.

What are you asking for your used radio? Will it fit the 2001 GS300 correct? Also, does it have the installation kit?

Sorry to bump an older thread, but does anyone know what type of indash kit this one is (and what paint was used to match the silver)? it sits more flush than the one posted above it--although both looks 100x's better than the original stereo!
