Default Tail Light Decisions

Next mod is taillights

Want some LED ones. After much research on the forums, most likely going to go with DEPO / Insurance, as I've heard many issues with Sonar regarding condensation, etc.

If you have any other suggestions for other brand of tail lights let me go.

Problem is deciding whether I should go with the smoked bottom or regular Depo , here are current pics of the car.

OEM.... Seriously. LED's are waaayyyy played out and if you remove that wing on your car + a chrome trunk bar your tails will be gorgeous.

if your emblems are dark then the smoked will go with it.

The best look imo is 1998-2000 tail lights and clearing out the amber lenses.
Dont have to deal with the blown bulb error message or wiring resistors which get very hot.

I like the white strip in the middle. Looks similar to what most of the Benz line ups have, in particular the C and E Class Benz

Search and you'll find the step by step how to do it. Got it done on my first try with no cracks.

I would say the clear strip just for a more clean look on a silver GS.

I totally agree. I want to do this. Been wondering where those came from after seeing it on another member's pics. Other than that I would keep the original tails
