I did a search to no avail.

My front passenger door does not open from the inside and only the outside. It's as if the front passenger door has a child lock! I just recently purchased this car, so I don't know what's been done to the door.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be causing this?

take off the inside panel and check the link that's connected to the handle, maybe it's off.

broken plastic sleeve that contains the connecting wire of the door handle can also caused this.
