It no longer hits, but it allows the control arms to move up more and therefore more stress on the upper ball joints. I contemplated on doing this, but I raised the car a little bit and so far havent hit like I used to. Wash the bay

Does anyone have a drawing that shows how the control arm articulates with respect to the rest of the suspension that causes the contact to the underside of the strut tower?

I raised my car like a half inch to avoid the banging.

I was actually going to do this a few months ago...but I decided not to. The frame is so low that my control arms hitting it is pretty much stopping the chassis from slamming the ground lol...It is a wonderful mod though and I do recommend it!

I feel like when the control arm hits it puts a lot of stress on the rim when hitting bumps because the suspension doesn't get full travel... Causing rims to get out of round or bend...
