Question L-Tuned GS300 Tires

So after a few months of driving my new (used) gs300, I noticed that the car started moving towards the right about a solid 15-20 degrees which would be perfect if i was in nascar but not great driving. I chalked it up to the alignment being out and decided to take advantage of the tires plus lifetime alignment ($170) and get free alignments for the time you own the car.

Upon closer inspection they mentioned the tires were old and separated (I figured i'd need new tires soon anyways) so now my question, what tires would best for south florida based weather?

this came with michelin pilot sports:

235-40-18 in the front
265-35-18 in the rear

The gentleman recommended falken ziex 912 tires, and stated that the michelin although a great tire, these in particular tend to wear out quickly due to the heat in south florida and are manufactured with a soft rubber. Is this true? I looked online and was indicated that it is a summer tire. any input is greatly appreciated!

Pilot sports are a softer tire yes, but the Florida heat killing them is a line of BS.

since you love in Florida you can run summer tires year round. No need for all seasons, just make sure the tire has a good rain rating

I've had Falken 912's and was a fan. They were quiet, rode well and had great tread wear. And mine were on my staggered 20's. They are a good bang for the buck.

considering the price for the tires are coming out to the higher end nearing a grand, i'd most prefer comfort with little road noise. so long as they're not slipping from underneath me in the rain. the askin price for the falkens with tires plus is near 950 which i can get the pilots with costco for a little more and when looking with the other ltuned posts, they all seem to have reacquired the pilots as well but these posts were at least 5 years plus old so thats why i opted to bring it back up.

the 912's are good for the money but not great.

Cant go wrong with Michelin PS if you can afford those, better yet PS2s.

If you want something that last longer check out the Nitto Motivo. 60k mileage warranty and from every review ive searched it grips well, rides smooth, and is quiet. ill be lookin into purchasing those when my rear 2 die out

thanks for the feedback, i ended up getting the michelin pilot A/S tires, came out to $830, free shipping + no tax and a $70 rebate, so not a bad deal and I saw plenty of good reviews. The main concern I have is why my car pulls to the right, and i mean really pulls like a 20 degree turn on its own, i have to hold the wheel to the left to keep the car straight. Unfortunately it wasn't the alignment but is it possible that the tires are the cause of this?
