Bumpy is a understatement!! I can't believe ths area is where a lot of the rich people stay and the roads are so horrible lol. I never drive in the slow lane due to the horrible roads. This area is very nice, but overpriced for what you get due to it being in the inner loop. I planning on moving to West Houston, Energy Corridor area.

Thanks for all of the welcomes! I think that I might have found my place to purchase my tires. There is a place called A1 Tires in H-Town that gave me a great price for mount and balance. They even have good reviews online too.

I will look fwd to the meet so I can see other members and cars. All I need is to find someone out here who does retro's on headlights.

Thanks for the reply. Is OG an member here that lives in TX? If so, can you pass me his contact info? Thanks for the notice on both tire places. I will give them a call to check prices. So far A1 has the best deal. They can get me another set of Falkens for my factory 17" for $380 mount/balance and tax. That's the best price I've heard so far.

If you could send me his info as well that would be great. I need to replace my front and rear struts as well. And any other recommendations of mechanics in the Houston area would be appreciated!

I live in Sugarland and I think you'd really like it out there. Katy's not a bad option either, but Sugarland has much much more to offer (everything in general). My friend works for ConocoPhillips off I-10, but isn't to fond of the Katy area.
I'm gonna go check out this guy who does retrofits, says he's a licensed Oracle brand dealer in the Southeast part of town. I'll try and get back and let you know after I see some of his work.

You could also check out CVT up in the northside of Houston (45n and Airline). There's a reason why they've been around for about 20 yrs? They used to also have a car crew called CVM performance about 10+ years ago. You should chat w/ Chris or John. They'll work on your car for pretty good prices. I've gotten many things done through them and I live all the way out in Sugarland.

Also Empire (Visham), and stereo Efx (Sam) is where most my other work was done,

I'm partial to Spring and the Woodlands myself. Even Conroe is growing fast. Lake Conroe is loaded on the weekend. Only thing is 45 traffic sucks in the morning and evening though. The Hardy is not too bad.
