Hey guys I realize this may be a dumb question, but I have aftermarket LED tails on my 2nd gen and the turn signal bulbs are not LED therefore does anyone know what type bulbs they are? 1156 i'm thinking, but would it make a difference if it were 1156A or 1156LL? Thanks in advance

Those are bulb codes like a is amber, ll is long lasting

Just curious, I ended up getting 1156A's put in because I was in need of working turn signals but i am totally hating the egg yolk look, do you guys know where I could pick up another set of chrome plated yet still amber bulbs as I previously had?

Buy LED's for your turn signals, they look great and you wont see ANY bulb

Will the gs give you fast flashing speeds when replacing the blinker bulbs with LED? A lot of cars have mechanical blinker relays and will "hyper-flash" when replaced with a lower resistance LED.

Oops, thought I put that. You can buy 4 load resistors (one for each bulb), or do it the right way and buy the flasher relay. Both are available through V-leds. However, the relay is a major beeyatch! to replace. See my thread on that

921. Yeah, replacing the OEM flasher is hard but will get rid of the hyper flashing.

Why not just buy the Chrome painted amber bulbs? I had some previously and they worked perfect and you couldnt tell the slightlest egg yolk look. Anyone know where to pick up another pair?

Search the site, they have like 5 different colors. However, unless you have amber plastics for turns, its illegal. If for reverse lights... nvm

I just have clear non LED 1156 bulbs. They dont flash organe, yellowish but more like a nice pure white.

Thats what I might end up using I just dont want a stupied ticket for having non amber turn signals, 5-0 can be a read hard *** around here
