Default please help.. my transmission shifter is lock

can someone help me ... 1999 gs 300 tranny shifter is lock.. i have to press the manual shift release evrytime to drive and park and vice versas.. is it the solenoid ?

I would start simple by checking the brake fuse.

Anyone know how to fix the shifter when is in lock mode? Once I shift to d it locks n can only go to neutral unless I manual press the shift release to park again.

GS4_Fiend was right. Its the ABS fuse. In the panel in the drivers footwell behind the e-brake pedal. replace it and ur problem will go away.

I had the same problem last week...15 amp fuse
