I just wanted to know what my projected 0-60 would be with a Swift Racing Torque Converter and Swift's HFI system?? I know MANY people on this board have those 2 mods. Have any of you done 0-60 runs?? What time would I be looking at?
I really wanna take it to those STUBBORN corvettes!!....

why not? the TC says .6 - .8 off 0-60 and the HFI/ECU would do a lot too! i know when you are getting into low times you need much more horsepower to make a small difference but if the gs4 can already do 0-60 in under 6 seconds would the TC/HFI/ECU take off at least one second?

Where did you read TC could cut 0.6 to 0.8 second off 0 - 60? You must be kidding me. Even on SRT's site, they claim 0.5 second cut from 0 - 60. As you already know, I have torque converter installed long time ago. From a person who has it and use it everyday, it ain't cut 0.5 second detected by GForce. With ECU/intake and TC, they could for sure cut 0.5 second no problem.

0-60 Numbers
Sasha & others - Look in the FAQ area. I posted all my performance numbers after each modification ( HFI; TC; Borlas & gears; even a wheel change ). Keep in mind that these numbers will vary due to test conditions & driving ability but it may shed some light on things & allow others to decide what's right for each of them. Forgot to post the downside of lower mpg ( 1 ) in highway driving due to the gears & T/C - VERY EZ to live with, though!!

I've had the TC and HFI for a while now. I would say this combo will cut .3 off my 0=60 and .6 off my quarter mile. This is with 19" wheels. Those who have the 16's and 17's could probably get a .5 off their 0-60 and 1sec off their quarter mile.
There are many factors that come into play when speaking about et. You have to take into consideration the driver's ability to control wheel spin (it is a definitely with these two things) as well as the temperature and weather conditions outside. The pavement is of course another thing and factors such as recent oil change, lowered suspension, and tire pressure just add to that list.
Overall, I would be modest and say that the combo HFI&TC will give you a reduction of (.4) 0-60 and (.8) 1/4 mile. This will slightly vary from person to person, but from my experience, it is as close to real life performance as it gets.
