Default what kind of mpg's/miles per tank on gs430 only?
Just curious to see what kind of mpg you guys are getting out of the 4.3 v8. Also how many miles per tank. I have been interested in a gs430 but am worried about gas. Thanks

I just recently got 351 to a tank (light came on). There are times when I have a little to much fun and get far less. But I have not problems getting over 300 to a tank.

do you use premium fuel. 351 doesnt sound to bad my 4 cyl toyota gets around 420 till light comes on. I have an 18.5 gallon tank. my low fuel comes on around 14-15 gallons

Yes on premium (minimum is 91). The light usually comes on around 16 gallons. I know I can get far more than 350 on long trips, but my driving consists of 70% highway 30% city.

i get around 19-21 mpg depends on the gas blend, winter or summer.

right now im getting 14-15 all city but i have a exhaust leak which is ruining my mileage....before that i was getting 16-18 city and about 20-22 on interstate

mixed driving i get 20-22mpg, light comes on a little over 300 miles and i usually pump between 15-16 gallons once that light comes on.

I average around 19MPG, usually somewhere around 330 to a tank.

I get 18mpg in mostly city driving. I get 26mpg on the highway.

I just got a 2002 and it gets slightly better mileage than my 98 did. My past 2 tanks, the light came on at 290 miles, and it's just over 15 gallons to fill from low fuel light (15.1-15.3, depends how far I am from the border )

I use 92 Premium only, and 90% city/10% hwy. I don't have any opportunity for spirited driving.

these engines especially the 1uz is very dependable, just that gas wont be the greatest. expect about 19-21 average

thats freaking horrible, is your exhaust leak after all the sensors or after the 1st two o2 sensor?

I'm getting just over 23 mpg at over 400 miles per tank full. Mostly highway.

Exhaust leak must be before the cat in order to have the affect of bad gas mileage
