So I got my SRT intake and tune for my GS400 and I have to say I am a little disappointed. Before I go on, I have NOT installed it yet, I will and post results Friday or Saturday. But I unboxed it and the tube is pretty ugly. It looks great on the outside, the bend is decent, it's mandrel, but it bows in a TINY bit, really negligible. But where the MAF mounts, there are screws sticking out in to the pipe, which I have never seen in installing 6 or so intake systems. But the really disturbing part is the holes for vacuum hoses. It looks like someone took a drill and punched it through three times as fast as humanly possible. They are clean and straight, welds look fine. But on the inside there are HUGE scraps of metal hanging down. I was able to break a few off (imagine those breaking off while you are driving, yeah) but I'm getting in there with a Dremel and deburring EVERYTHING and sanding those stupid screws down. It's all about airflow, so why have those suckers sticking out?! If you haven't looked in your SRT intake yet, take it off, and make sure you aren't going to lose metal fragments in your intake. That WILL be bad news. I will post pics later, just posting a little rant.
This, is why I made my own intake. Same results, better quality.
The quality really is great, it's nice metal tubing with a machined adapter for the MAF. It just seems like corners were cut on EASY stuff... Really though, it's about the convenience of a canned tune. Dyno results and happy buyers don't lie... That tune makes a good difference for those of us who don't want to play with an Apexi or SAFC or any other in out DD. Purely simplicity.

I can understand the tune, however the speed on my GS isn't worth the price. With this thing being an automatic, I'll never be completely happy with the performance.
WOW! If you look at how your MAF is installed and how mine is it seems they let quality control slide. I bought mine I think in '03-'04 or something like that.
Their customer service is terrible, I called them 10 times to try and order the twin pump fuel hanger, ended up buying it from MVP because they had it in stock.
