Top is simple tray for keys or phone or whatever
Inside is 8 1/4" wide
The tray is plexiglass with LEDs under it which are on top of board wrapped in suede
Thanks for all the compliments guys I really love it and makes it better that I designed it and made it myself rather than Buyin someone else's design ya know?

damn.. final production is looking great.. ive been checking this thread periodically.. Looks GREAT man..not going to lie, I was skeptical of what that was going to end up looking like.. but they look cleannn. I just added some similar seat trays u have, that i picked up from a xj6..

Reading what I put tells you what it's for lol

And it's nOt final product yet
Still got more chrome trim and wire up the LEDs which may end up being too bright idk lol guess we will see

Well I jus hardwired the LEDs to check them and only the bottom ones work and not the ones under the tray and only way to take it apart is pull suede off both sides and unscrew it so may have to leave it like that

just sits there actually
notice the cupholder on armrest slides between the side walls
also the weight of it(not heavy but enough)
and the bottom board is recessed so it kinda saddles the car
hard to explain in words lol sorry

im just really dissappointed about the leds i should have checked the wiring before i completed it...cuz i really cant fix it......might build another one just cuz of this=[
