Hello. New to the site...have searched hi & lo on this site and others but haven't found an answer....i'm hoping someone can help...

I have a 99 GS 300....
Anyone know if the Throttle Body is interchangeable with that of a 2000 GS 300???

HELP??

thx...i really just need the throttle lever assembly but can get a 2000 salvaged throttle body for the just a little more in price...may just go for the entire throttle body.

whats the reason for the change ?

limp mode....vcs lights, ck engine....

lexus said it was either TPS or throttle control sensor...repl both and not fixed...
codes come up P1120 & 1121...next option (TMK) is the throttle lever assembly....

well if i were you honestly i wouldnt waste my $ on the lever assembly i been there done that . i ended up buying a throttle body off ebay for 250 and it came with all 3 sensors UNTOUCHED ! so all i had to do was uninstall my old TB and install the new one . plug the sensors up and walaaaaaaa problem solved ! o and unplug your battery while your doing this so the ecu can get reseted in the meantime !

Well how many ppl have a heart like yours ? Lol hard to find trust me i looked everrrrrrywhere for a cheap tb with sensors... Better off payin the 250 for the tb than buyin one sensor for 350 and still not resolving your problems

it cost me only 220$ for a new Sensor from sewell, FIxed my problem, My throttle body works Fine

found the lever assmbly on ebay for $50...dealer wanted $350..
just installed and didn't fix the problem.

$600 later and still no go...

car barely gets out of driveway and stalls out....gonna have to bite the bullet and tow it to a shop....

$250 is not bad at all (assuming everything is functional). They range from $200-$350 in the past for a complete TB with motor and all sensors unmolested.

You happen to have helped someone out tremendously by essentially giving it away at $60 shipped. Good deed for the day though..
