DRL and Hi-beam confusion

FYI, you can find LED 9005s that are bright enough for high beams and function (noticeably dimmer) at 6v.
Also, if you put HID in as high beams, disable the DRLs. The 6v power can mess with the ballasts. If you put any LEDs in as high beams that do not fire at 6v, I do not think that will harm them.
I plan on using high power LED in the high beams and fogs, along with a built in LED strip IN the fogs as DRLs.
I just need a power source that is on whenever the car is. Is there a mini/micro fused source I can tap into in the engine bay?
