Default Some new pics of the Lexus

I'm sure some here may know about my car, It used to be a single turbo 6 speed on a stand alone, well after several issues I decided to pull the motor / tranny and reinstall a vvti swap. I wish I would have just done this a long time ago, with the Supra motor I lost my cruise and climate control as well as check engine light issues, also with the 6 speed, in order to make the shifter clear the tranny tunnel / center console I had to make the shifter about 30% longer than stock which would bring my hand really close to the radio. My car wasn't a fun daily driver before with a large single and twin disk clutch, I really love this car as a daily driver, last week I was on my way to Darins shop to do a 6766 single / Haltech / fuel, the works... I turned around 1/2 way there and decided to stay with the way it is for now, I guess as I get older I am learning to appreciate these motors in near stock form. The true twin is a blast on the street with the mods done to the exhaust butterfly and intake pipe. The Lexus now is a really nice street car getting 25MPG on the highway, great daily for a family of 4.

Thanks goes out to Darin, that kid has talent. I'm always happy when I leave DD Tuning.

So you changed back to the stock aristo engine? with stock twins and tranny? Will the tranny hold up to the power?

Yea it will hold about 500RWHP with the Aristo tranny, for under $2,000.00 I can get a Titan built tranny that is proven for mid 9's at 150 MPH or so. Over 800RWHP.

Drag radials and nitrous goes on in the next week or two, will have some track video soon.

Yes the hood scoop is functional, the lift is a 4 post found here:

Yea built auto is the way to go, much quicker in the 1/4 mile and you don't need to worry about 3-5K for the tranny and another 3-5K for a good clutch.

Exactly, pretty much means I can do the build 6 months sooner than I planned just because the transmission will be cheaper..
Any upcoming plans for the car now?

Well that's the way Toyota designed it on the Supra, it actually picks up air from a snorkal and blows it onto the stock twin plumbing on the Supra, I could add the snorkal. I like it and that's all that matters. No rice here

Many people like the hella flush look, I can't stand it, maybe because I'm old school. I modded my 1st 280ZX turbo back in high school in 1989 so I've seen the fads come and go.
