I have the Nav package on my car and after reading the hidden secrets thread I attempt to hack the audio to get more bass as noted by other members.

So i turn the key to ON, then hold the climate and audio buttons while going to my light switch and flicking it to the first click, then back again 3 times. Nothing happens and no diagnostic screen pops up.

Is it not working because I have to press the I agree button on the Nav first before attempting the hack? Any help would be appreciated.. thanks!


oh my gs is a 2002 btw if that makes a difference.

First off, you forgot to set the parking brake before the whole process. Secondly, I don't think ML systems have this "hack". Mine is an 03 with ML and all that it does is check if all the components work properly.

ahh didnt set the parking brake. Thanks for the input! yeah I just read another post while searching that said ML systems dont have this feature as well. Bummer
