Default Can I get a quick favor from someone with an ML sub? (pic request)

My ML sub is toast, so I bought a new sub to replace it. In the meantime, I had un-soldered the connections to the original sub without noting which wire went to which terminal. Of course the sub isn't labeled with +/- either. If I knew which wire went to which terminal, I could use a battery to test which wire is the positive terminal. My speaker wires are red and yellow.

So, could someone check out their ML sub and see which color wire goes to which terminal? On my car, the terminals are next to the rear seat, and there is a driver and passenger side terminal. A picture would be nice, but even if I can get a consensus from a couple guys, that'd be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I'm referring to the sub, not the amp. Back when I blew my sub, I got a new (used) one and wanted to test it out. The speaker wire comes out from above the sub, via the rear deck, from what I can tell. I didn't want to tear everything out at that point, so I just unsoldered the speaker wire connections on the sub (no plug anywhere that I can see).

That replacement sub ended up being no good, so I bought a brand new (aftermarket one) and am ready to hook it up, but wasn't sure which of the 2 wires is the + wire.

Attached is a pic, sorry for the quality, my trunk is kinda full and I had to bend over and shoot upside-down.

Sounds good - thanks guys. It's possible that the sub connects via a clip somewhere on the top of the rear deck sheet metal - but I haven't taken it apart yet. Worst case scenario is that I can mount and connect the new sub and see which way sounds normal/best.

There is a clip where the wiring connects on the deck lid/sub plate/bracket. I remember when I took mine out (don't have photos though).

Yellow wire is on the left, as in passenger side? Thanks a bunch for checking! (I was going to remind you but since you said you subscribed, and others posted after that, I figured you probably saw the subscription notice.)
