Heres one I got for sale on ebay, but too bad its for a LS400. Just an idea of other DIY rear tables

i actually saw this DIY on the VSC forum, that guy did a very good job.

wow good job on your first round at it, can't wait to see the finished product, i was actually planning on taking on a similar diy after coming across the one made on vsc forum

Yeah staining doesn't work out very well with blacks, dark expresso is more like what it turns out. You can get parts Hydrocoated for a finish that is more like OEM.

this hydrocoting process looks very cool, but also very expensive lol
about how much did it cost to hydrocoat those GS parts?

im pretty much finished with it, just gonna apply maybe a couple more layers of ebony stain and see if i can get it to match my interior better

i actually just built one kind of similiar to it for my gs but doin things differently
you did same thing i did....whats luxury if you cant put ya arm on the armrest so i dont feel the tables that cancel out the armrest with something wooden hard and uncomfortable right?

thanks man, i've done alot more research and playing with new ways to make the finishing since i made this rear table, my next table is going to be alot better, and i cant wait to see yours done, good luck on it dude
