Please help with interceptor wiring!!!
I'm installing my haltech interceptor (piggy back) unit into my supercharged gs430. I have never really installed any units like this so if someone could please help me out and tell me exactly which wires I need to connect to which pins on the stock ecu.
Note this unit was removed from another sc'd gs430 so I can tell exactly which wires I need to install from the haltech unit. I'm just not sure where to plug them in, or which ecu wires to cut. Here are some pics of the pinouts and haltech wiring diagrams. Also wiring diagrams for srt and sfacii, just in case they help. http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...I-430-ECU2.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...NG-01GS430.jpg http://i451.photobucket.com/albums/q...ingdiagram.jpg The wires which are already extended for use are (pin out based on haltech wiring diagram) grey connector 3. analogue out 1 6. signal ground 8. 5v 9. analogue in 1 black connector 1. digital in 1 5. digital out 1 "rel +" 7. power ground from what I see I am only cutting 2 wires and splicing 3. Simple Haltech instructions. - Splice to +12v power - Splice to signal Ground (low current, low noise) - Splice to power ground (high current) - Cut engine load signal and connect each side - Cut engine position signal and connect to each side Can anybody please tell me which pins I have to connect these cables to? Also not sure whats the diference between the analogue and digital inputs outputs:uh: not sure which one goes the engine load signal, and which one goes to the engine position signal. Thanks in advance |
Bump anyone!!!! I know there's gotta be someone out here that understands this better than I do.
