Default So far so good

Well got shafted today at the local stealota farcership.....20 bucks for a tube of FIPG, they wanted 37.50 for each of the intake gaskets, when i threw a fit and told them i knew the "suggest retail" of the gaskets they sold them to me for that price. Never again.....lol

Pulled the intake off the new motor, pulled starter and wiring harness out of old motor, cleaned it up, and put it all back together.

Default time for the waterpump and timing belt

pretty straight forward stuff. put it back together the way you took it apart.
torquing everything per the book of course. everything lined up just the way it is supposed to, nothing moved or anything like that. new idlers, new tensioner, new belt, new waterpump, new main seal, standard stuff. Skipped on the camshaft seals, not comfortable with removing cams and vvti stuff.

Lol going 80 in second gear is very impressive. I forgot I was in M Mode one time and I was merging on to the freeway still in 2nd gear. I hit the redline just above 60 and I think the Fuel Cut Off. My car made a really weird sound, but all was okay.

Default i really have not idea

that is the best guess i can come up with....lol.....when i went with a trailer to get the car, cranked it, no compression in any cylinder..sounded like all the spark plugs were out, got it home pulled the left timing cover, belt was still on, still no compression no nothing..........all she can say is, it just stopped going....
maybe it was 60 in second, or 90 in third, or well you get the picture. looked into a rebuild, but for a lot less money, and i mean a lot less money, i could get a jdm with a transmission with less than 60k on it. after this i should be good for a couple of hundred thousand miles...i drive all highway and take care of my cars.

I pulled a regular 1uzfe from a 90 lexus, wasnt too bad I had to remove the condenser for more clearance, and to get to the coolant bypass to the rear was a bih~
