Gauging interest in Rear Door Lock Actuator Cable
Hi guys, I'm taking a quick poll to guage interest/need in a Rear door lock actuator "lock/unlock" cable.
I currently make the Front cable but want to hear your experience to see if the Rear cable is also an issue.
If you have repaired/rebuilt your Rear door lock actuators on your 2nd Gen GS what have you found?
Thanks,
Lenny

- The cable was in good shape - no need to replace
- The cable was broken - but I prefer the "paper clip" repair method

I was just at the junkyard today pulling a rear door lock actuator assembly just for the cable. I hate jury-rigging stuff unless there are no other options, so I would have gone for a new cable.
However, in perusing the paper clip repair method just now, I think the alternate heat-shrink tubing repair method would have been an acceptable option for me and I wish I had thought of it because I have a large assortment of heat-shrink tubing. Still a worthwhile trip today though because I got other parts I needed.
