Unhappy Heated Seats Not Working

Hi Guys

I have a GS300 & when I switch the seats on, the light turns on, but there doesn't appear to be any heat generated from the seat. They were never that hot when they did work though, kinda lukewarm.

I have friends with Audi's and BMW's and when you switch the heated seat on, can actually make you sweat! Does anybody have any ideas what the problem may be and how to fix it?

I'm certain they are broken, I mean it's kinda warm at the moment, so maybe they are so poor to start with I can't really tell, is there any way to make them any hotter? There seems to just an on and off switch.

Thanks in advance

They're pretty poor to start. Take a good while to come on, but when they do you should be able to tell no doubt. They're not piping hot, but a nice warm feeling.

But there any method to make them hotter? Is there a secret hack or a way to adjust the temp for the seats? I'll try the seats again tomorrow, maybe I'll try it when the weathers cooler.

I don't use the car much as I get the tube to work and the hours are long, so if I do get to use the car in the evening the weather is usually cool enough (summers in Britain aren't great) to warrant using the heated seats

I have a friend with an S4 and trust me when I say my heated seats don't even hold a light to how hot his get. I can definitely feel the warmth when it is cooler out and I turn them on however.

I thought heated seats were standard on all models, the switches are between the vsc and the power button on the centre console
