Whatever is on sale or what people give me. My engine doesn't really care.

Exactly....except Mobil1 isn't a dino that the syn. I typically run dino oils in my car for 5k then change out. The motor will last just as long running dino vs syn. Some people run syn and change it out at 3k or even 5k...which is a total waste of oil. Any syn should be able to run 8k oci no problem.

Most if not all motor oils are based off of paraffin (wax). You'll get buildups with any oil if you don't change it out on time. Castrol, Mobil, etc are not prone to this.

I use Mobil 1 High Mileage and Mobil 1 filter. Just did the timing belt and resealed the head a couple weeks ago, everything is super clean inside. Car has 84k miles.

I use 10/30 Mobil 1. Switching out to 20/50 this week to pinpoint why my car is drinking oil. Takes about a quart after 2000 miles but trying to figure out if its my valve seals or piston rings.
