Another new guy!
Hey CL, I just picked up a 99 Black Onyx GS3 and I've been lurking these forums and decided to post. One of the things I've noticed was how helpful and friendly everyone seems on this forum, really great to be part of a nice online community! Haha.
Here's a pic of the car I picked up. My main reason in choosing the GS was the infamous longevity of the cars Toyota builds. I've never owned one myself but my family has had a few and they've all had no major problems. I also am working on finishing up my Commercial Pilot's License and figured it would be a step up from my 240sx I had parked at the airport everyday.
All stock, about 14X,XXX miles, body is in decent shape with one dent aft of the rear driver's side door. Cleaned up headlights and did the diy chrome grill mod so far.
Got the car in a trade for my 97 240sx. Pic:
I've been into cars for a while now, but I've mainly owned nissans. The closest car to the GS I've owned and still have is an 06 G35 which hopefully most of you will find is 'tastefully' modded! Here's a pic:
On air runner and 20" AMEs.
Some of my other S-chassis.
96 240sx, bought stock, all work done at home.
92 240sx, built KA-T, fun little sleeper. (Pic is from when I rushed to get everything together, it really isn't that sloppy now) Again all work done at home, aside from machine work of course.
Well, looking forward to being part of this forum and learning more about Lexus and the GS. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed my picture filled intro and I hope to deal with you all soon!
