Work Emo XD9 18's for our 2GS

Hi,

Lately, ive been seeing more and more 18" setups rolling pretty hard. Price on tires are much cheaper too. maybe less then 400 a set new.

anyway, had my eye on some wheels. always liked gold\bronze on white combo.

what do you guys think of these wheels?

i think they will look hot, what color is your car? and be prepared to ride SLAMMED for this set up to look good. please post pics when done

white. missed out on this deal.. but keeping my eye out for some. thinking possible tire setup to be 225 or 235/40 in the front and 245/40 in the rear. those sunny's and linglongs look tempting when riding low. ;X

So? What does your car have to do with this thread?

Well the fact the OP was asking if the xd9's would look good on gs's and he posted a picture of his car with xd9's on it. He is helping the thread... And what are you bringing to the thread other than drama?

Nice wheels! yes, the pictures are totally relevant. I was looking at the specs and it seems like the 18x10 has the deepest dish. Do you have +38 or +18 offset? I hope the +38 and +18 has the same depth in the lip.

and yes, i was talking about the tires for about under $400 a set with some cheap generics.

Damn too bad I didn't take pics, I had that same set up on my 2GS. 18x9 +20 with 245/40's and 18x10 +18 with 265/35's. Only thing was that I had the Matte Grey finish. Look sweet

Silver'04 Mar 3, 2011 10:15 PM

Oh and btw, I think only the +18 has the deeper lip.

No, you're right. By the time I had gotten half way through the thread, I had forgotten what it was about (even forgot to post my original thoughts). I'm just getting old. My apologies to the OP and Aadaamm. Didn't mean to bring drama.

Anyways, OP I think that 18" Emotions would look great in that offset. 18's make the GS look more no-nonsense in my opinion. I also like the white/bronze combo in general but I'm not sure if I'd like it on a GS. It depends on the look you're going for I guess.
