door lock actuator motor from ebay part FC -280PT-22125

Searched for help on problems with passenger door lock. Thread was from 2007. Thought problem was solved by replacing tiny motor inside the actuator. After two times and frustration got it back together, power door lock inside worked but remote would not. Anybody experieced this problem, help would be appreciated. Talked to a tech told me to retrace my steps and check wiring for a bent tab or bad connection, did so, every thing looked fine. Tried another motor , same result.
If you disconnect the actuator with the new motor, key fob works again. Part is suppose to work for a Lexus, any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanx, Bob

have u considered two possibilities? battery in remote is dead OR door remote ecu might be bad?

Doesn't that means that his key fob battery does work and his door remote ecu is still working.

Door Lock Actuator

Bogie 54 don't know if you found your solution but I just encountered the same problem. Found this link which I think fully explains how to replace motor and test before reassembling door panel to make sure key lock position is registering correctly with computer. Try:http://www.shastaanesthesia.com/Lexu.../actuator/html.

there's likely a relearn procedure....my dad's CLK55 had to have all the windows dropped all the way down, then all the way back up, followed by turning the steering wheel a bunch of times to relearn the window switches and suspension settings.

Did you try resetting the ECU after replacing the motor? It seems like a blanket "F it" solution but there is so much in these cars that's tied into that ECU that making any kind of repair or replacement to a part that's even remotely electronic or could be controlled by the ECU should be finished with an ECU reset/relearn.

did you try to reprogram the key? with the key fob guide? i highly doubt if you key was working prior to the actuator job that it's now longer working after. I would agree with the door module or door ecu to be busted, oohhhh i re-read the post, kind of got confused sorry. if you unplug and re plug the remote works? are you sure the plug to motor is making good contacts? or maybe one of your wires might be damaged or splitting internally? run a multimeter through the wires and see if they all make full contacts from the door ecm to the actuator motor.
