Tony and Luxurymods is the most legit company you can deal with. Just because you broke something, you can't go blaming him. If he's offering a replacement part at cost, I would happily jump on that if I were you.

You're lucky that you were even offered a deal on a new lip. Most if not all places would've told you to screw off and laugh at you.

Dayum! You should find that (small) rock and take it to the police and file a report so no other lip gets damaged. Better go now before the rock run away! Blame the rock not LuxuryMods

Why not Post Pics, so we can see the actual damage? Unless there is something to hide? Poly parts are extremely difficult to crack, even under extreme pressure it will deform/fatigue before Cracking, non the less it is not indestructible.

temp also plays a role, here in NY even an OEM poly bumper is more likely to crack in the winter than summer under impact.

I would not limit your finger pointing to Manufacturers defect, but include all other possibilities.

Post good quality pics to enforce your claim

Say you were to buy a hamburger from McDonald's, and when you are home you trip and fall while holding this delicious pure JDM GReddy hamburger. This hamburger falls to floor, breaks into pieces, and is no longer edible.

Would you go back to McDonald's and ask them for another free burger, and if they were to not give you one than they are complete *** tards?

This thread should be closed. If you two will argue back/forth, keep it to PM's or direct calls. We dont need vendor bashing or customer bashing thrown around on the main forums.

I'm just in for pics. Something doesnt sound right in this story... On the OP's side.

Props to LuxuryMods for keeping cool throughout this ordeal and still offering a replacement at cost.

What kind of scam are these people running??? LMAO
You might wanna check your info before you post random slander about a reputable vendor on here...

Moreover, Whether it is urethane or fiberglass or frp is also irrelevent. The paint will crack after a certain point. Welcome to the car world. Stuff happens man. I repainted my car twice over stupid stuff happening. If you cannot handle the stress or hassle, then this might not be a hobby for you.
Excellent examples Jerry, quoted again for people that still fail understand the situation at hand.

You have still yet to post pictures...even mobile phone pictures of said damage to your lip/part.

You received the product undamaged I assume and put it on, you have been using the product for roughly 3 weeks now. That is 21 so odd days that you COULD have been hitting curbs, animals, rocks, road debris, etc... not saying you did, just stating that it could have happened. For all we know it could have been user error for installation of the product to begin with...who knows.

I don't see how Luxurymods has any obligations to replace/refund anything to you when you have already installed and used the product. There is no warranty for these things. The fact that he is even willing to replace the part for you at wholesale cost is saying a lot. You expect a shop to eat the cost of repair/replacement due to something that was not their fault to begin with is pretty outrageous.

I put a polyurethane front lip on my WRX that had been warped from being in an awkward position and outside in the sun. I mounted it up, bolted it down, and after a few hours outside in the heat it has "re-warped" itself back to the original form its suppose to be.

being the devil advocate a little here... The only place I see a reason here is if the lip is being sold as poly, but he got fiberglass. other than that, I dont see cause for the slander.

as all have said, there's got to be more to the story. I've had both poly and fiberglass kits. My other car has a fiberglass kit and I smacked into the curb while doing a 3 point turn (dont ask LoL) smacked it pretty hard too and barely made a rip. Takes a LOT to rim a lip in half.

maybe some one backed into him in parking lot and he didnt notice till he was home.

dang it, I still cant help but say... Theres got to be more to this story than the op will admit.
