Default does it matter what springs when ordering shocks

I have bilstein sports right now
I wanted to replace the fronts with bilstein HD for a softer ride
I am also installing 20in wheels
I have Eibach springs
I want to know do I have to get different shocks due to having different springs? on autozone they list 2

Eibachs + KYB = Comfort ride
Eibachs + Bilistein = Sporty ride

In addition, KYB and Bilistein only has one type for you to choose.

If you are still planning to use the Eibach springs, then any shock should work with it as long as it's for OEM applications. People have been using both Sport and HD versions with Eibach springs.

thanks henry and Gs fiend, are KYB long lasting
I know theres 2 types of bilstein sport and HD
I think If i do stick with the bilstein im going to go with the HD.
But I do want a more comfortable ride so KYB would be the way to go for that...
just wondering how long they will last.

There is only the GR-2 for our cars.

I had GR-2 with L-tuned (eibach) springs and they were quite comfortable. More comfortable than stock springs with Bilstein HD.

The Bilstein HD's are for the GS with Stock Height, and the Sports are made for lowered cars. I have Eibachs with stock shocks but I was thinking about getting Sport Springs since the Eibachs do lower the car, even though they only do so by an inch.
