im running 2 jlw6v2 with 1700rms going to them..i have stock 01 tails and i keep breaking bulbs due to the vibrations of my subs..does anyone know how durable insurance tails are? i dont wanna buy them and they die on my cause of my subs or if there are any stronger bulbs that wont break as easily?

is the housing the bulbs ever been tampered with or somehow not holding the bulbs in snug? sounds like their not mounted correctly or become lose, causing them to vibrate and break.

Your cheapest solution is to turn your subs down. If you want to try and figure a way to keep your subs up, you should look into getting your rear truck dynomat'd. Also i would reccommend checking your hardware in and around your truck to see what screws and other parts have become lose due to the vibration of the subs.

Dude I have 2 JLW7 and I don't have any problem with my led tail light. You should check your bulb sockets. You may have to pull the little metal clips closer together to hold the bulb better. I also have Dino mat on the truck.

Can you prove that its the bass doing this? There are many of us, including myself, with far larger systems who do not have this problem.

On the subject of the Insurance Depot lights, I have them and still dont have a problem.

Instead of spending $500+ on tails, maybe think of the LED replacement option:
