great upgade, the 01+ cluster trim would be a nice edition as well...

also like Thomas mentioned, your old wheel is a awesome upgrade for the SC300/400 guys i've actually put one of those 3 spokes in every SC i've owned

Very nice! The old steering wheel looks too outdated. I swapped my oem black wheel for a sport design (preforated leather w/eshift). The price was TOO GOOD to pass up on!

Just drill 4 holes in each pedal and screw them in.

Looks good, the wood wheel is the one thing I really want for my car right now; think I've spent my play money for right now already though.

I have a question about this steering wheel rather than opening up a new thread.

Will the plastic backing of a 98-00 steering wheel fit the new 01 air bag if I decide to upgrade or will I have to purchase the grey plastic as well. I know for certain the 01-5 air bag is a different shape. I bought a wood wheel from japan but had to use my stock 98-00 plastic to assemble it. Now that I want to ungrade would I have to order all new 01 plastic covering including a 01 air bag. Also, can the 01 bag even fit this wheel? Here are some pictures......

The plastic 98-00 backing cover (front)

The Nice wood wheel with the nasty old 98-00 bag.....

01 wheel shape.....Will it fit or is the steering wheel itself a different shape.
