I, personally, want to row my gears if I am driving a sports car. Although, it's very trick, it's also a $2,500 option...For me, those two factors convinced me to get the 6speed manual instead...

I like the SMG for the following reasons:1. I have full manual control like a regular stick.
2. I can shift gears with both hands at the wheel.
3. I can shift gears faster than Brent
4. I can put the car in full auto mode and smell the rose of a sprited attack on a winding road.
5. Even when in full auto, I can program the shifts to my taste- anywhere from easy shifting to brutal 0.08-sec shifts.
6. I like high tech.
With all the above, just like anything else, I'm just hoping that the computer and the electro-hydraulic systems employed in the SMG don't break. The regular manual doesn't have that issue.
